THE BACK STORY

I first learned of THCV from the manager of the Dahlwinnie farms store in Aspen Colorado. I was sitting on the couch reading a magazine as my friend looked at the various strains offered for sale. The manager asked me whether there was anything she could show me and I responded in the negative stating "weed gives me the munchies”. Then she told me about THCV and a strain of marijuana called Durbin poison. She suggested I try it and firmly believed it would not increase my appetite. I was skeptical to say the least but curiosity has a way of getting the better of me. Wow, she wasn't wrong! I didn't really give it further thought for several years. As it happens, have pretty severe glaucoma (elevated I pressure) and unfortunately began developing allergies to the eyedrops that were require to keep my eye pressure in the normal range. I had run completely out of options when someone suggested that I try medical marijuana because glaucoma is an approved indication in Ohio. The only way that would be an option for me is if I could find a cannabis product that lowered eye pressure and didn’t make me high. And because I have fought the battle of the bulge for my entire adult, under no circumstances could it be something that made me hungry!

That is when I started thinking about my conversation and Aspen about THCV and begin my search to find it.. The bad news is that THCV is a very rare cannabinoid and there is very little of it in cannabis based products. In addition, it is always mixed with something that makes you high. After a four month trial juggling the available options---here's what happened:

THCV didn’t seem to improve my eye pressure--at least at the dose I was taking. But, people started telling me how terrific I looked and asking me how much weight I lost. Since I flat out refused to get on a scale, I have no idea what I weighed when I started this little “experiment of mine.” I've always said that there's no point in getting on the scale because if the number is good it's an excuse to eat and if it's bad you're so depressed that you eat. Diets fail because of their very nature. You give up some food group for a defined interval and if you're lucky you lose weight but feel deprived. Even if you won't admit it to yourself, you're just waiting for the diet to be over when you will go right back to your old habits.

At this point, two things seemed indisputable. My clothes were getting baggy, and I was eating on a salad plate instead of a dinner plate. As I thought about it, I was eating a lot less but certainly didn't feel deprived. That's when I started thinking about all the CBD products on the market and wondering if any of them might contain THCV. I was shocked when I discovered that starting with hemp instead of

cannabis you could produce a high concentration of pure THCV.

Since that time, I have been taking the product that is now offered on this website under my brand name. And I'm happy to report that my weight is continuing to trend-down. I believe this product is going to work for you too! But, you need to be patient. You will not “feel” anything but after several weeks you will begin your slow and steady weight loss.
